I own one, I use it for my camper, it's useable, but you need help
adjusting power, mic gain, and PL tones stuff like that, you would need help
with, but to just use the radio if you can go with out changing power, mic
gain or anything like that and only change things to do with frequency, it's
accessible. I wouldn't ever use it as my primary rig though. I personally
like to have control over everything on the radio. I don't know if the
external touch tone pad helps that, I can't find one I don't know where to
get it, but with out it, I could never use the radio as a primary radio
personally.
