I'm very fond of the Grundig Yachtboy 400. It can't compare with the more expensive radios for selectivity and sensitivity, but everything on it is accessible. There is direct keyboard entry both for frequency and for clock and alarm settings. It has 40 memories and pretty good coverage. It retails for $200, but I bought mine several years ago for $170. I did a search on Yahoo shopping and chose the best price I could find.
