Looks like their dues have dropped in some categories, but that it's "a
closed, good ol' boy network" is disheartening.  Are there ANY CP
non-profits that really care about their "cause"?

They are primarily a medical society for CP. They have been around since the
'60's at least, a closed, good ol' boy network. I turned down their invite.

 My major professor was a fellow. It's about a $1,000/per year dues! Never
felt like being that prestigious!
