I'm in charge of snacks at our play group next week. My son is the only
Celiac, and when I'm doing the snacks, I try to make something that he can
eat as well instead of making him something comparable to what the other
moms make. We have a St. Patrick's Day theme next week, and I'm sort of at
a loss for ideas for a green snack. Okay, we're talking green food coloring
here--no vegies, please. As much as we moms would like our little ones to
eat some broccoli at 10:30 a.m., these 3-5 year-olds just aren't going to do
it! I can only get to a regular grocery between now and then (my closest
Wild Oats or health food store is 3 hours away), so does anyone have any
ideas for something I can do with something I can readily get at Safeway or
WalMart?
