Having been there and done that, I can tell you that a
nice average sized baby.....say 7 pounds....is far easier
to deliver than a 10 pounder......plus a smaller baby is
not so hard to carry during the last month or so of the
pregnancy.   That said, gestational diabetes is dangerous
for both mom and baby......but I've never learned what
causes it.....
