The tuner is a piece of cake. just push the tune button and will here the
tuner spinning inside. Should only take a few seconds and will stop when
antenna is tuned, no looking needed for it. Some later rigs tune quite a bit
faster but would usually tune any antenna I had, at least as long as
reasonable SWR, no higher than 2.5 to one or so is maximum. You won't be
disappointed. You can certainly work around rigs without speach but believe
me it is so much easier you won't believe it. Dave
