Hi All,

On the subject of computer interference, I find my Doubletalk PC generates a
load of garbage I pick up on my ham rig, AM radios in the house, etc. Yet,
when I run the computer with Jaws using Eloquence, after about two or three
days of leaving it on the net constantly connected to ATTBI, my sound starts
to stutter and I have to reboot to get it cleaned up again. Freedom
Scientific says this is because Windows 98 is not made to be constantly
connected to the internet. I am running Windows 98 second edition with 256
megs of RAM.

I have a couple of questions for those who may have worked through this.
First, is there another internal synth which will not generate all the hash
and garbage? Second, does anyone know of a cure for the stuttering sound
problem other than regular rebooting?

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. If you write to me off list,
please also send a cc to [log in to unmask] so I can read at home. 73
