>Bottom line?......it's damn hard for most people to give up. That's the red flag of addiction, IMHO, and reason enough to suspect and intolerance.
My addiction is to sugary baked goods.. Donuts, Cookies, Muffins, Cakes,
etc. I try to avoid but sometimes I cant and then go on a binge where I
wolf down a large amount at once. This usually happens once a week.
>It's not just the caffeine, either, although that is very addictive, because apparently it's just as hard to give up decaf.
I gave up coffee, it was tough, but I didn't have a choice, I have a ear
condition that caffeine makes worse (dizziness). It's not as bad as it used
to be, but I don't think I will start drinking coffee again. The few times
I tried it I didn't like it anymore because of how jittery and shakey it
made me.
