There is the only way to work correctly with Win2000/XP: to do
regularly System Backup! In the case of installation umbigiouse
programs essentially.
First you should be made Start\Programs\Accessories\System
Tools\Backup\ Backup wizard!
To restore last saved system state use Start\Programs\Accessories\System
Tools\Backup\ Restore wizard!
In your case it seems to me that you can restore the system state
saved automatically during installation.
