Hi, Amadeus,
In April 2001, while on a low-carb diet, my homocysteine was 8.2. By
November 2002, after 6 months on paleo, there was a percentage change
decrease of 12.1% down to 7.2. The reference range I have is that anything
<10.4 is considered good, but the lower the number the lower the associated
mortality risk.
Of the foods you listed in your email, the only ones I regularly consume
every week are salmon (more) and beef (less). I eat raw almonds, too, but
infrequently because of the omega 6. However, I just polished off a pound
of them this past week.
