Wow- that sounds like our family. My 18-yr-old son is allergic to
milk, eggs and nuts. I am allergic to milk and soy. My wife has
Celiac, so she can't eat any gluten. For you mathematically-inclined,
the intersection of our diets is (nearly) the empty set.
If it's just wheat and not all gluten, there are several alternative
grains - oat flour, soy flour, etc. There are wheat-free blends that
you can get at whole foods markets. There are egg-free recipes (our
favorite is the Wacky Cake) for cakes.
Are these allergies adult-onset anaphylaxis, or are they lesser
allergies (provoking, e.g., temporary skin rashes). If they are the
latter and there are no severe or life-threatening symptoms,
once-a-year cheating might be tolerated.
Also, if nuts are not a problem, some bakeries make a wheat-free
nut-flour cake that is amazingly delicious.
Good Luck,
Mark
