Tropical Flavored Sherbet- dairy, egg, corn, wheat, gluten, and soy free
3 cups pineapple orange juice
2 bananas
3/4 cup safe confectioner's sugar
1/4 cup dari-free powder (formula powder or rice milk powder would work, too, if allergic to potato)
1 teaspoon guar or xanthan gum (optional)
In a blender, combine half of juice(all if blender canister has adequate space) , bananas, confectioners sugar, dari free powder, and guar or xanthan gum. Blend for 30-45 seconds or until thoroughly mixed.
Transfer all ingredients, including any remaining juice that did not fit into the blender into the canister of an ice cream machine, and process according to manufacturer's instructions. Or, place into Popsicle freezer molds and freeze until firm.
