Hey everyone
I have a question about new construction. I have seen a
not-so-reputable mason applying a post-repair acid bath
to clean up messy mortar application. Is this standard
practice? I also see a lot of efflorescence on new brick
construction (not by the same guy), and I'm wondering if
my assumption that the acid wash and the efflorescence
are directly related is correct.
Also, I missed trying out my salute at APT-DC last
month. I was only there on Friday, and missed spotting
Mr. Blundell's name tag as I walked around staring at
people's chests.
