Got the thf6 manual from someone on this list. Noticed some text about a
"blind-friendly encoder" near the beginning of the document.
This appears to have something to do with text substitutions for the
various key icons.

I would like to get more info on this, so I can process the ts2000 manual
in the same way.

Also, has anyone gotten the tables unscrambled from the pdf version of the
ts2000 manual? If not, when I get everything processed, I will notify the
list.

Finally, I have two books from L. B. Cebik which he has told me to make
available to other blind hams at no charge. These are in wordperfect 5.1
format, However, I haven't gotten around to cleaning them up yet.

I will post the titles, tomorrow when I am more awake. I would appreciate
some help from anyone who would like to clean these up.

I will then talk to our computer science department about letting me start
a blind-hams document archive on their machine.

Also, any notes on the use of the thf6 or ts2000 would be appreciated. I
am attempting to start a faq for these radios. If the interest and info is
there, I will expand to other equipment, operating tips, etc. as time and
info allow.

Hope to hear from some folks soon. This is a big job, but together we can
enhance all our hamming.
