Did you built your own PC system?
Do you have an Athlon processor?
If the above are true, make sure the processor is running at the right
frequency and make sure the Vcore is set to 1.75V.
Anyone who overclocks an Athlon, especially a T-bird requires the
Vcore (processor voltage) to at least 1.80V or maybe 1.79V.
Also, make sure, especially if at 1.3 Ghz, the power supply is at least 300W!
Failure to do the above may cause Windows crashes and file corrupt errors,
even if the files are not corrupted on the hard disk.
