My 2 cents worth.  I have a stick of 128mb PC100 I use for testing only.  It
will work fine for simple operations, but...  and it is a big but, if I try
to use it for Adobe Premeire, or use Partition Magic to resize my
partitions...  CRASH, big time, and lost data, etc.!  Make sure you have
backups before you start using RAM from an unknown source.
