Weight lifting *does* qualify. I don't enjoy or recommend superslow, but

I clearly confirmed this stuff about how you don't need to do any
exercise specifically for your heart through a personal experiment over
the course of a year and a half. At least confirmed it to my
satisfaction.
There's other basic misinformation in that web page. Just glancing
through I noticed that he defines atherosclerosis as "narrowing of the
arteries". Current understanding of atherosclerosis is that there often
isn't any stenosis (narrowing), but what happens is the atheroma
ruptures, spilling its clot-promoting properties into the blood stream
causing a thrombosis. (see current issue of Scientific American on how
heart disease is an inflammatory condition.)
