Hey You'll,

I am looking for advice. I as you already know, love working
duplex. Well, the only unit that I have is an old brick of an icom,
which happens to work like a champ, and I love her to death.
However, I am in the market for another radio which will work
either the 70 CM, 120 CM and or two meters. A duel-band rig would
be most preferable. Are there any blind friendly rigs out there
meeting these band specifications?

Moreover, I will be wanting to start working such bands as 6
meters, 10, 20, 40 and 80 meters later on. Are there any blind
friendly rigs meeting these band specifications? I am given to
understand that getting rigs containing voice chips is quite a
financial drain, so I am looking for something with thumb wheels,
or a knob that clicks noticeably when it is turned whilst frequency
surfing. Are all rigs digital now a-days? What workarounds are
there, that you are aware of?

Thanks so much in advance.

Ray
