I have a friend who owns a Toshiba with a multichannel sound card
capability.  When she was looking for it, I recommended she find a notebook
with such a feature.  No one really new (sales staff, pamphlettes).  She
called the manufacturer who did explaing that the sound card had the
multichannel feature.
