It would be helpful for me to find out if there are any chat applications that are accessible for screen readers?
I'm trying to find a way to have a virtual meeting, but I don't think I'll have any funding. I heard Talking Communities and Opal are the only accessible virtual conference applications, but I'm assuming they aren't free.
Thanks for any suggestions!

I've always heard that the main problem with Blackboard chat is the timing.
The screen reader can't keep up with the constant refresh. There is another
feature called Who's Online with the Vista version but I don't know how well
that works. It's more like an IM.

Does anyone know if Blackboard's chat functionality is accessible to screen
readers?
