there is a lot of good reading out there anne. http://www.htmlhelp.com
has some good info on accessibility, http://www.w3.org/wai/ has some
good information including the guidelines and techniques for the
original web content accessibility guidelines v1.0 which were published
in 1999.
I can also recommend a tool that you can download and try for free from
http://www.hisoftware.com called accverify pro which checks web sites
for section 508 and w3c validity. Canada does have web standards for the
government but I do not know how far they go into the public sector.

Subject: Web Accessibilty
Hello,
I am planing on taking the EASI online course for web accessibility, but
the next course will not be until January.
I currently test web sites where I work for access with JAWS, Zoomtext,
Dragon, Magic and basic mobility, by using just the keys to naviagate -
primarily the tab key.
Could someone direct me to some web sites where I can learn more? I am
in Canada and we do not have the ADA or 508. I know there is the Bobby
site, but can you suggest more until the course begins?
Many thanks,
Ann E. Wisdom
