I have, for the past months, been "indisposed" but I have watched Pamodou Gassama polluting this forum with APRC propaganda and untruths. 
Like a real "Sahi Laka-Laka" he has wiggled himself to a position of Jammeh/APRC trumpet on Gambia-L. This does not surprise me, one bit, for since he landed on this forum as "Daddy Nying", and later "Kebba Jobe", Pamodou Gassama has never been truthful to himself.  He even initially denied that he was Pa Modou Gassama. How can one take somebody seriously when the person denies that he is himself? There was even a Time when Gassama had a "split personality" on this forum. He was writing as Kebba Jobe with email address [log in to unmask] and at the same time as Jungle Sunrise with address [log in to unmask] Dave Manneh has called Gassama a "Fake and a Fraud". There is nothing truer than that, for Kebba Jobe was a "Fake" and Pamodou Gassama has been expose to be "Fraudulent". Now that Fatoumatta Jahumpa-Ceesay has extended an invitation to him for a tete-a-tete. Who knows what the future holds for him? Perhaps Pamodou Gassama will one day be the first Gambian SOS for Propaganda, Disinformation and Distortion.

Having, repeatedly, admitted on Gambia-L, that all his pursuits are for his personal gains and that his personal interests are paramount to the national interest, Pa Modou Gassama has transformed himself to be the main mouthpiece of the Jammeh/APRC killer-regime on Gambia-L. It might payoff one day, like it did for Malafy Jarjue. The only difference is Mafy's honesty and sincerity to his cause were never questioned on Gambia-L. Mafy never talks about things he doesn't know about or tries to portray opponents of Yahya Jammeh as unpatriotic. Furthermore, putting himself at par with Josef Mengele or Gobbel, Gassama has exhibited his true opportunistic nature.

We have all read Gassama's beautiful piece about the 2 jets that flew over Bakau on Independence Day and how he questioned the wisdom of The Gambia owning them, but few weeks before that he put "ARSE 22" at the top of his Jammeh/APRC development list for Banjul in particular and The Gambia at large. He even went on to compare "ARSE 22" with landmarks as the Tower of London and the Eiffel Tower. BUNKUMS!!! Gassama, like all Gambians, has never expounded on the economic, cultural and the "hand-to-mout" necessity of that edifice, which to many of us serves no other purpose than to block the entrance to Clifton Road, Independence Drive or whatever name Jammeh wants to call the street.

Here is what Gassa wrote about the APRC's acquisition of the two jetfighters:

"I will continue to find out about these jets and believe you me, if it turns out that they actually belong to The Gambia regardless of whether they are gifts or not it would have been [the] dumbest thing this government could have done at this point in time. As far as I am concerned the acquisition of a single jet fighter regardless of how we get it is as stupid an idea as the policies that led to the demise of river transport in The Gambia."

Gassama has failed to accept the fact that any government with "Poverty Alleviation" at the top of its program is a government being run by scalawags, if they purchased jetfighters.

Now that "it turns out that the fighters actually belong to The Gambia", Gassama remains reticent about the "dumbest things and stupid ideas" of the Jammeh regime. Pamodou is here playing a part of an unofficial "spin-doctor" or a self-appointed spokesperson of some something, he has no inkling about. The likes of him are the most dangerous in the Gambian society. We all witnessed the demise of many like Pamodou Gassama. The Fafa Mbyes, the Pap Cheyassin Seckas and the Sarga Taals were the fore-runners of Gassama. Like Gassama, those people were no more than "a Caterpillar in the Gambian cabbage", and their fate is known to ALL Gambians. The time is not long for Pamodou Gassama to know that the Sun NEVER rises in a REAL Jungle.         

Gassama's forward when Amat Bah visited Kaninlai should be carefully studied to expose his lies and deceptions. Seven years ago Kaninlai was a hamlet struggling to become a village and now Gassama, as mouthpiece of Amat Bah, is telling us that Kaninlai is the same as Brikama. Well, the last time I found myself in Kaninlai, there were only three compounds. On Jammeh's assets, Gassama claimed that Yaya Jammeh has this, that and everything in his farm, which made him so wealthy. Well, I know generations who have been farming for generations with everything in Yaya's farm and yet, today, cannot afford the customary "three square meals". How could 75% of Gambian farmers be waiting for their payments of last years produce while Jammeh is making millions of his last harvest?

Another major aspect of Gassama's that really used to turn my stomach, is his attempt to paint all those who are oppose to Jammeh and his APRC as either anti-Gambia or supporters of the "Ancien Regime". Gassama ought to find out more about some of us before insinuating. Some of us were opposing to the Jawara regime when Yahya Jammeh was in diapers, not because Jawara killed innocent and unarmed school children and intimidate those who oppose him, but because of his inertia in tackling the blatant corruption some of his ministers were indulged in. Gassama is also always trying, in his pieces, to give the impression that some of us are against development in the Gambia. This I find, at best, harmless but squeamish like a "Sahi Laka-Laka" or some other creeping things and at worst divisive and damaging to Gambians. If Gassa believes that peddling APRC's inaccuracies and inadequacies is the only way he could promote his well-being in the Gambia, then I could only say "Lorda mercy" on him and the suffering masses in the country.

Gassama has failed to realise that there are some Gambians on this list who will never eat their Benachin without the Kem or to put it more straightforward, these Gambians do not settle for half a loaf.  Most of us are here to tell it like it is and if anyone doesn't like it he or she can kill a goat..., as it is said in wollof. I have no objection with Gassama peddling APRC's "Crap" or what Ngorr Ciise calls "nonsense on stilts"  on this forum, all I am asking for is to do it with some sincerity for himself and his posterity, like Mafy, FJC, Tombong and many pro-APRC supporters for they were VERY honest and steadfast in their support of Jammeh and the APRC.
