Interesting. A message from another list participant said that this
handheld wasn't all that blind-friendly, i.e., menus weren't al that
accessible with beeps etc. to indicate one's position in them and that,
despite the CW freq readout, not much else could be done with it.
How to square the previous post with the ones below?

I just purchased a T90-a as well -- I'm enough of a "newby" that I
still have to take my Technition test (next week) - I love the handheld
so
far, the code synthesizer for identifying which Freq you're on is
definitely nice.
The PDF manual available on Icom's web site is pretty accessable
too -
you can even read the buttons in the manual (just have to get someone
sighted to help with the display). I hope to (some time) get the cable
and necessary software to try programming the radio on the computer.
