Tom and Others,
I use Ecleaner which I downloaded from the Internet. It is shareware. I
think it costs twenty bucks to register it. It gets rid of the
greater-than, colons, etc. as well as artificially truncated lines in
e-mails.
The easiest way to use it is copy the message to the clipboard, have it
clean the clipboard contents, and then paste the cleaned version into a new
message.

Hi Tom,
I move my forwarded text to MSWord and get rid of the greater than signs. I
use the control plus H and replace it with nothing. Then I move it back to
Outlook Express. 73
