Webinar Thur. Feb. 19: Bookshare is getting bigger and better!

Colleges and universities are making more and better of the avilability of 
electronic books online to support students with disabilities.  This 
Webinar will help you keep up-to-date on current advances.

Public Webinar on Thursday, February 19 at 2 PM Eastern
Presenter: Betsy Burgess, Director of Marketing for Bookshare

One of the fastest growing online resources for electronic books for people 
with print disabilities is Bookshare It has been providing electronic books 
online for several years, and its collection of books and the quality of 
its texts has constantly been improving. Recently, armed with a large 
grant, it has launched a new initiative making several changes. The 
quantity and quality of books has taken a giant leap forward. Some of the 
funds has been sent on designing a much richer and more useful Web interface.

This work has been made possible as the result of a grant Bookshare 
received recently.  The First link below will take you to the recording of 
Jim Fruchterman from Bookshare sharing the impact the grant is
