Subject: Public service
Last night we were having severe weather I figured, so I went to
www.weather.com. Since I'm blind and can't read the stuff scrolling at
the bottom of the television screen, I thought I'd try weather on
demand. www.weather.com did tell me there was a weather warning for my
zip code, but the particulars of what kind of warning and how long
scrolled across the screen in java? Or something unreadable by my screen
reader. I did contact them by email and wonder if anyone on this list
would feel moved to do likewise, or knows a better weather service on
the Internet. I know I could pay for weather to come into my email, but
somehow I am loathe to do this when others can get it free.
Cheap in Wisconsin,
Kathie
