Hello List -

I have been GF for 2 1/2 years and have been trying to get pregnant
for over 5 years.  Also, I am on many anti-depressants,
pain killers, sleeping pills - blah blah blah.  I told my
doctor that I thought maybe some of my problems were hormonal and
that maybe if I was put on a hormone pill, I could get rid of
all of these other drugs AND get pregnant naturally.

Instead - he sends me to a Fertility Doctor.  I tell this doctor
all about my celiac disease and want to make sure that all roads lead
to a healthy baby - because I am still sick regularly myself.  Also, how I
want to cure myself before adding a baby to the mix - maybe with hormones.

THIS DOCTOR said - "I cannot take care of your Celiac Disease, you'll have
to go to another doctor for that - I am here just to make sure you get
pregnant"

I was devastated!  He didn't care about me or what my un-absorbant body
could do to a baby!

I want to write a letter to my OBG with a copy to the Fertility Doctor
and would like to add articles, etc. about how Celiac can cause birth
defects - so they both understand how important it is to combine the two
together when dealing with a Want-to-be pregnant Celiac!
