Hello colleagues,

I am looking for a scanner/OCR software for a journalist with low-vision who
runs a Window 98 machine. The system needs to be fast and accurate, and have
both a flat-bed and page feeder. If the hardware effortlessly accommodates
bound books, so much the better.

The journalist plans to open the scanned documents in Word and use ZoomText
Xtra's Doc Reader to read them.

If you can recommend of a good combination of scanning hardware and OCR
software, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Alan
