I installed a two computer network, following advice given to me on this
list. Device Manager, Win98, shows card in each computer is working
properly. Cards are ADMtek AN983B 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Adapter v.
017. Now, what do to transfer files between computers?

Hi,
Have you installed file and printer sharing in network properties? You
need to do that, then share the drive(s) you want to share in the drive
properties.

HTH,
Peter Hogan

Did that. In Network, Configuration have
Client for Microsoft Networks
ADMtek AN983 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Adapter - Adapter
ADMtek AN983 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Adapter - Protocol
File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks

What I get:
In one computer, Network Neighborhood, Entire Network, shows three
computers connected. All, when clicked, show host computer.
In other computer, Entire Network is blank.

Cat 5 cable connections checked. Adapter drivers reinstalled. Adapter
drivers updated from manufacturer's website. Device Manager, Properties,
Resources show no conflicts. Driver diagnostics fail on Linkage, and each
computer freezes at this point in tests.
