Something that bothers me about Peat's assertions also is that when Weston
Price investigated primitive cultures and their eating habits, almost all of
them went to some effort (and some quite a lot) to obtain either sea foods
or organ meats.  So, it seems that primitive wisdom does not agree with
Peat.
