These sound like allergies. It's possible to be allergic to even
perfectly paleo foods. Believe me, I know! (and wish it wasn't so).
If, by changing to a paleo diet, you actually encounter more allergic
foods, then your health will decline. In my case, I had to learn about
each food separately. On the Atkins diet (pre-paleo) my health declined
quite a bit, because of the large amounts of garlic, onions, cheese and
some nuts that I was eating, all of which I am quite allergic to. When
I combined paleo eating with careful evaluation of each food and its
effect on me, my health improved dramatically, compared to any other
time in my life. Despite the bumpy beginning, I do not regret my
dietary changes.
Hey did anyone else hear about Dr. Atkins and his heart attack? At
first I thought, "Well, maybe I should reconsider low-carb", but after
actually doing some research I found that the heart attack was caused by
a heart-infection not a vessel blockage. Of course, the news used it to
blast the Atkins diet of course.
