In my opinion, the term is outdated, but not inaccurate. A race horse is
handicapped. Handicap is a challenge. I know I'm in the minority with this,
and I do prefer the term people with disabilities, but I hate "disabled
persons" it sounds soooo clinical. Also there can't be "persons" a person is
singular. People is plural of person. Men and women with disabilities. A
man and a woman with disabilities. A man with a disability. A fine line I
know, but one that really irritates me!

Mag, who just saw MY LEFT FOOT with day-lewis as the venerable Christie
brown.
