Strictly speaking, if you read the law carefully, "recovering alcoholics and
drug addicts are covered. It's one of the Jesse Helm's addendum to the ADA.
BTW, of one examines the legislative history of the ADA, Jesse Helms was its
real savior, not Justin Dart. This was conveyed to me by a liberal,
Democratic lobbyist. It should make you proud as a North Carolinian, Kat.
