The neurosurgeon who did my carotid artery operation was a most competent and
smart guy. He lectured in my medical aspects of rehab class. Yet, I a patient
he would never come close to me. The closest he came was when he used the
stethoscope to listen to my carotid. The rest of the time he would stand
across the room and ask question. Were it not for knowing him and having a
personal relationship with him, I would have never gone back to him because
of the "bedside manner".
Bobby
