Betty,
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Jubal.  But, I'm glad it opens up a
place for another animal.  My husband won't let me get another animal until
another one of ours passes on.  <grin>  Something feeding time and litter
boxes....

I just told them I'd take Doc, if he's still looking for a home.  Everything
is just about set up here for me to take a dog.

My cat Jubal (Gen. Jubal Early, CSA) died a few weeks ago after a good 17
year romp through life.  I couldn't have done this until he passed on.  He
was King of his little universe, and I didn't want to bring another mammal
in
the house while he was still alive.

Anyway, I can give Doc a home.
