Ron, I've heard of visually impaired users manipulating an emulation package
from a windows box; someone else swaps packets edited within windows with
FTP. Your post confirms what we've suspected though I'm disappointed.

On the brighter side, just last night, I saw something on TV regarding a sun
systems initiative.  The sun exec (CEO?) encouraged industry peers to donate
technology and expertise to third and fourth world countries as a kind of
'foreign aid' initiative. I missed the context in a muddle of dinner table
chat. Anyways, I'm hopeful that java and solaris become easier for visually
impaired people to use.
