Audrey,
Get off of nightshades, grains, legumes, dairy and cigarettes. Tobacco is a
nightshade plant and can exacerbate arthritis. Eat the fruit, nuts and fat
and worry about the weight after the pain is gone. What is your priority in
this? Tackle one thing at a time..... To me, pain would be the first
thing I would tackle and that means nightshade and smoking. Oliva
