It wasn't Dr. Bernarr's recommendation to water fast that bothered me. It
was his sweeping generalizations about the *causes* of RA/JRA. No doubt the
dissolute lifestyle he describes--i.e., drugs, alcohol, etc.,
etc.--contributes to many health problems, but none of those things are the
*cause* of my son's JRA.
