Hi Tom;

Acckk! Throw it out right away (or bring it back and get a refund). If it
smells/taste like linseed oil then it's rancid and potentially toxic to your
system.

Be careful when you buy these omega oils - they're delicate and break down
quickly within hours at rooom temperature, and a matter of weeks in the
fridge. By the way, they should be found in the refrigerated area of the
store, otherwise, don't even consider buying it. Buy it and freeze it if you
don't think you will use it within a month (in fact, to be extra safe, put
it in the freezer right after buying it). Once frozen it can still flow so
you can keep it in the freezer until entirely used up.
