Marilyn, thanks for posting this. Good news about the low contaminant
levels. Next thing to ask them about is what they line their cans with.
I would want to know whether they use an epoxy or lacquer coating that
leaches bisphenol-a into the can contents (an estrogenic endocrine
disruptor), or whether they have switched to a safer enamel coating such
as what will be required under EU rules sometime in the next year or
two.
