        Of course not.  However, it would be hard to pin the blame on
diet.  Frankly, if a perfect paleo (or low-carb) diet prevented any
infection, then infectious organisms wouldn't exist.  After all, all
human beings were on a paleo diet before the advent of non-paleo food.
Since we know that these organisms do exist, and  have existed since
time immemorial, then it must be so that the paleo diet does not prevent
infection.
