Welcome, Robin. I've been eating pretty strict Paleo for almost two months
now and I love it. I've wanted to eat more fresh and natural foods for a
long time. The extra protein is a challenge for me, because I've never
been a big meat eater. But I'm getting used to it! So far I've lost 13
lbs and 7 inches, have started exercising more, and generally having fun
with all this.

It will probably be a challenge if the rest of your family isn't
sympathetic to your desire to change your diet. I select most of the food
my S.O. and I eat. He's generally sympathetic with going paleo, though
he's definitely not a strict paleo eater -- he loves french fries and
chocolate too much!

I didn't phase into paleo eating -- one day I was on my old diet (lots of
carbs, especially bread) and the next day, I went paleo. It was just the
right time for me, and it hasn't been that tough, actually.

Good luck and best wishes--
