Wasn't quite what I expected -- it was more about the models of
the earth's oscillations and climate cycles and how one model shows
that the next ice age will come within 200 years. Enjoy the late
summer while it lasts.

One punny comment from a Univ. of Colorado professor about how the
disappearance of the megafauna from North America at the end
of the last ice age coinciding with the arrival of humans
being mere coincidence -- since the megafauna had lived through
previous ice cycles -- was "too much to swallow"  :-)
