Pasamba, I concur with your observations. The problem with the Bush
admin. are his advisers, they live in the politics of yesterday namely
"cold war politics". When they came to power, their disdain for the
Clintons coursed them to take a lukewarm attitude towards the middle east.
In their eyes,Is real can do know wrong and blaming Arafat for everything
is very disingenuous.
Yes, there needs to be a Palestinian sovereign state not a protectorate of
Is real as was propose in the deal Barak gave them.The Bush
administration's attitude remind me of the old Jewish rabbis, in order to
rid themselves of their sins, they take a donkey to the desert,lay their
hand s on the donkey to transfer their sins on the donkey.This is what
"Arafat must do more" sound like.
