Yes, through IVF. (So when I talk to my boys about sex I can honestly tell
them we did NOT have sex to have them, lol.) Actually we were pregnant with
quads at the 7 week ultrasound. We had had 3 embryos put in and one of them
split. The fourth "disappeared" by the 12 week u/s. Apparently this is fairly
common in early pregnancy. Since the boys were fraternal (a blond, a brunette
and a redhead at birth) and because of the malformation of Joey's placenta
(that is sometimes seen with identical twins) we think it was his twin who
"disappeared."
