TheY call those "fee simple" in Ohio. We don't mind the attachment because
the soundproofing is excellent. To get the "fee simple" arrangement up
here, most of the places require that you be "of retirement age", so to
speak. The only negative we've found, so far, is the lack of rug rats in
the 'hood. S'okay, though--we ship the kids' friends in when they get
bored. Besides, we plan on being here a lot longer than Anna and Alex's
childhood.
Of course, if my folks go "casters up" in the next few years, we might move
into their Florida place. It's not bloody likely, though. They're too
healthy!

when we go to a retirement plan we r going to definately consider a condo or
condolike arrangements. my fatherinlaw lives in a place where all of his
outside work is done for him for a yearly fee. it is a separated house type
unit. i think judy prefers that to a joined unit.
