Thanks Mike. I had a great friend in 1996 die. He had been a song writer for
Stax Records(the only white guy to work at Stax). We started writing
satirical songs about recovery and it blossomed into a local recovery
peformance group. The group is still peforming, but I don't do it because it
got old and I missed Paul. Sometimes I still will get an idea for a song and
think, "I have to tell Paul about this.". Then I remember. BTW, we wrote the
all time AA love song, "She looks sick enough for me."
I heard a guy at a meeting say this and went home and wrote part of it and
Paul finished it. They still sing it.
