Could be bacterial sinusitis- especially if your discharge is not clear.
Might need to see the doc. The doc can also arrange allergy tests which are
a crude way of finding out what you're allergic to.

Dust mites aren't paleolithic as hunter-gatherers aren't likely to have many
of them in their huts and dusties hate cold weather etc. Dusties love beds-
they crawl through the holes in the fabric and breed like mad inside your
pillow and mattress and quilt. there are now special fabrics (at least in
technologically advanced Australia) that dusties can't penetrate and also a
laundry liquid to kill them in cold water (hot water kills them without
additives).

One frequent feature of dust mite allergy is that nose gets worse when you
go to bed, and when you wake up. This is because 95% of dust mite exposure
occurs in bed (despite the attention that carpet receives as a dust mite
reservoir).

A Paleo diet will help against grass pollen allergies and dairy allergies,
its omega 6/3 ratio will help other allergies. But as dust mites aren't
Paleo, diet won't eliminate dust mite allergy. Strict avoidance can help a
lot. (especially when combined with a Paleo diet). High levels of dust mite
are a feature of Neolithic civilisations, especially more recently with more
heating etc. Winter freeze is a good way to kill dust mites.

So, it's PaleOK to be allergic to dust mites.

I think I've invented a new word- PaleOK. Sounds much better than
Paleokosher.

Cheers
Ben

nose, sneezing, mental fog during the day, constant
sore throat, and sinus pressure & clogged hearing
first thing in the morning after lying down all night.
