I'm familiar with OA, too.  I went for a while, but found the approach didn't 
suit me.  In OA you come up with a food plan, then "sobriety" is sticking to 
it.  Some OA members do "gray sheet", which excludes wheat and possibly all 
grain--can't remember all the details.  You have to measure and weigh 
everything you eat, and have to clear every meal with a sponsor.  It's very 
rigid--not for me.
