Well, Rayna, from what I've seen of talk shows here in the US and in the UK,
there are a lot of idiots out there who love watching people being
humiliated or people humiliating themselves.  That is one reason I very
seldom watch daytime TV; even when I was home for two months recovering from
surgery last year, I did not turn on the TV during the day.  I loathe
watching people whine about their problems and talking about things that one
should be discrete.  I think we've gone too  far on the side of "letting it
all out."
